Bitstop, a Miami-based ATM company, will showcase a new ATM that can distribute NFTs, Golden Finance reported. The NFTATM will be showcased at the Bitcoin 2022 conference in Miami Beach, which will take place from April 6-9. According to Doug Carrillo, co-founder of Bitstop, NFTATMs not only distribute NFTs, but also provide a “face-to-face minting experience.” Over the past 12 months, NFTs have become a billion-dollar industry, but sales and overall interest have dropped significantly recently. Nonetheless, NFT sales improved last week, up 34% from the previous week. Crypto ATMs, on the other hand, have seen significant growth of late, with nearly 3,000 machines installed globally in the first quarter of 2022. Bitstop is the fifth largest crypto ATM operator in the world with 1,747 machines or 4.8% of the 36,688 ATMs installed globally. (news.bitcoin)
